This year's Conference theme is "Emerging Threats – The Case for Collaborative Public Safety".

With 3 days of keynotes and interactive panels, attendees will be updated with the latest insights on several industry key topics: Day 1 will focus on Threats and Responses ; Day 2 will deal with the Protection & Emergency Management ; Day 3 will look into the Innovation in Tactics & Equipment.

I would like to thank our esteemed Milipol Asia-Pacific 2017 Conference Chairman Mr Khoo Boon Hui who has identified and attracted world-class industry speakers. The international line-up includes several leading experts directly involved in recent crisis, such as the French terror attacks or the Syrian conflict.

As a visitor, what can I expect to see at the exhibition?

Milipol Asia-Pacific is expected to welcome the whole homeland security industry, including more than 8,000 visitors and over 250 exhibitors. It remains the best place to enter the APAC security market or develop its business in the region and beyond.

In addition to the conference programme, particular one-day conferences will be held during the event: Drone Asia 2017, Securex-Asia 2017 and the IED Workshop.

Moreover specific areas at the heart of the exhibition will be dedicated to activities such as the "Drones & Robotics" pavilion, the "Private Security" pavilion or the Technology Seminars and Live Demonstrations area.

What are the strategic goals for Milipol Asia-Pacific 2017?

Milipol Asia-Pacific will develop and grow over the coming years to become one of the largest events providing an opportunity for all practitioners to meet, interact and build relationships. It aims to create the best environment for attendees in order to develop the technology, solutions and responses to protect their borders, infrastructure and national sovereignty against the ongoing threats they are facing.

As organisers we hope to see all of our partners, exhibitors and visitors benefit from our high-quality attendance and make this show their preferred choice to attend.

By joining Milipol Paris and Milipol Qatar within the well-renowned Milipol Network, our exhibition is preserving its position as the largest homeland security event in the Asia-Pacific. The official support of both the Singaporean Ministry of Home Affairs and the French Ministry of the Interior reinforces the new dimension of our event and the Milipol Network.

Milipol Paris is organized under the patronage of the French Ministry of Interior.
