Paul is an expert in crowd management operations for major global events and venues. He is Interpol’s tutor on crowd management, training gold and silver police commanders all over the world on crowd management best practice as part of Interpol’s Project Stadia. Paul is currently advising the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup on crowd management strategies and recently developed the Crowd Management Concept of Operations for Qatar 2022.

During the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games Paul oversaw the largest single crowd management operations of the Games, the Olympic Park ‘Last Mile’ safely moving over 250,000 people a day in and out of the park.

In 2014 he co-founded FOAMHAND, a Movement Management Specialist for major events. Since 2014 he has advised 3 Olympic Games organising committees and 2 Commonwealth Games on crowd management.

In 2019 Paul created OnePlan, the event-planning tool for the event industry. OnePlan supports event professionals and suppliers to plan safer events by utilising intuitive space planning and measurement tools within a global mapping platform. Events all over the world are now being planned using OnePlan’s innovative technology platform.
