Mariane Renaux has spent most of her career in the aviation and defence fields of activities.
She joined Dassault Aviation in 1990. She became responsible for Maritime Patrol and Maritime Surveillance aircraft testing in Istres Flight Test Center.
She has been involved in several export negotiations, setting-up offset projects as well as Test and evaluation programs.
In 2003, she was appointed Director of PATMAR aircraft and multi-mission Falcon at Corporate level, in Saint Cloud.
In 2005, she joined Airbus as Head of MALE (Medium Altitude, Long Endurance) drones Programs, Harfang, and tactical UAV Drac/ Trackers systems.
She is now an independent expert in International Programs management, aviation and Drones strategy, supporting companies, institutions, local and regional authorities. She is also involved in UAV flight tests centers strategy, Medical logistics drones, “drones for good” and “tech for good” projects.
In 2020, she has been appointed as Independent Expert to the European Commission, dealing with Urban Air Mobility projects.
She is auditor at the “Institut des Hautes Etudes de Défense Nationale” (IHEDN), Institute of Advanced Studies of National Defence in Paris.
